About the Author:

      The author, William R. Eleazer, was born and raised in Springfield, Georgia, just twenty-seven miles from Savannah.  He is an attorney who has lived the lives of most of the novel's characters: law student, law professor, prosecutor, criminal defense counsel, trial judge, U.S. Marine --- and poker player.  He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his  wife, Jan.  He can be contacted at his e-mail address,  wreleazer@verizon.net.
